I was not quite dressed up for this shot, so, as you can see with the bench, I had snow up to my knees, but it was definitely worth it.

The lower part of the Edmonton Skyline for a change...

[edit] brighter version... the first one was way too dark...

The rest of the Edmonton skyline serie is here: [link]

Very cool... the drifts in the snow really make this work. Well done!

The angle of this photo really makes it.

I really like the bench. It breaks apart what would be just blank and it adds character to the shot.

Good work.

Thank you... the funny thing is, I first wanted to take a slight slope and show the picture in a landscape format, however, I came up moving upward, so I switched to portrait, with a muh bigger slope, and it still works well...
Thank for your comment!

Nice angle :D

the angle really makes it interesting, it forces you to adjust and readjust your eyes, noticing so many little details in the process.

it's almost hypnotic.

The angle is 'almost' an accident. The way I indented to shoot it was landscape horizontal with the sun at the bottom left (which is what you get by runing 90° counter-clck-wise. But having the sun below the city did not work out, so I turned it for what you can see above. I have to say I quite like it myself.
Thank you for the :+fav: !!!
