This is the 2nd shot of a 5-photo serie on pistachios.
This particulare one has been inspired from ~theskiesrainscarlet on [link] The other 4 pictures of the serie are: The Pistachio Tragedy The Pistachio War The Beloved Pistachio The Pistachio Survival Comments i love how the focus is on the shells, not the meat of the nut. it goes very well with the title/theme of the work

Come check out my gallery, and spread the love: [link] Also, the 'door' is a piece of paper printed through word (black page with a white square and a white circle juxtaposed). That page needed to be out of focus to make it work, and the reflect of the page on the table make it look like the light is actually coming through the door.
I looked very nerdy taking the picture, but I like the outcome ^^. So do I, but after this serie (and the 3 pounds of them I ate), I am staying away from them for a little while...
really? that's awesome, it turned out very well indeed

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
